
The Fairfield County Fair is located in Lancaster, Ohio and runs from Sunday October 11 thru Saturday October 17. The fair draws from all over the country and holds entertainment for young and old alike. The fairgrounds is situated across from the foot of MT. Pleasant which provides a picturesque view from the top. The fair plays host to many 4H groups and Grange groups. It would be hard to say what the center of attraction would be at the fair. Inside the Art Hall many future artists and homemakers display their talents and are judged on their work. From the latest in sweeper technology to what the local hospitals have to offer, from the oddest vegetables to the biggest ones grown, they are all here to be seen. You will find all variety of farm animals and a few extras on display here at the fair. Demolition derbys are held on Friday and Saturday nights with a combine derby thrown in along with horse racing. Come visit the Fairfield County Fair and take in the history of the grounds. Oh and bring along an appetite, you won't be able to resist the numerous food trailers and local schools serving their fares !!
