The 9th Annual Sweet Corn Festival 5k run started out on a nice cool morning. There were over a 1,000 runners entered in this event. The first watering station for the runner with dry mouth was situated at Weldon's Ice Cream Factory on Canal Drive. Pictured is Carol, one of many volunteer water girls. |
